Lila Bee

Lila I wanted to share this super cute picture of Matt and Stacia's little girl. This was her first Hallowe'en out in full costume. It got me thinking all nostagically of a picture of my sister and me in costume when she was two and I, four. I was an astronaut, with my dad's white motorcycle helmet (with full-face acrylic mask!) being the perfect addition to my white jumpsuit. I carefully drew the NASA logo surrounded by our solar system on the suit and finished off the ensemble with gloves and boots. My sister was a moose, with a full-body brown fuzzy suit and coat hanger with paper mache antlers! We were pretty hot shit, I must say.

Lila was the first child any of our friends had had, recently joined by a few more. We got to meet her last year and she's a doll.

I've been bad about posting things to oneroom lately since I'm completely obsessed with a big project. It will be going online shortly and I'll make an announcement here when it does. In the meantime, I promise to get back to regular postings with something new every week.

That's no costume! This is clearly the result of genetically modified foods.

We were hot shit. I can still remember making those antlers of newspaper and glue on the kitchen floor with Dad. Thanks for the Christmas bell, I love it (and so does Speedy who knocked over the whole tree just to get to it!)
