AtomFilms is a leading entertainment site featuring short films and animations. In the fall of 1999, the drive to develop a new subscriber base, Atom Insiders, as well as improve the online store required a substantial redesign of Atom's site.

A new section celebrating the work of Bill Plympton was created for Atom's first partnership with a major animator.
